How Do I Create a Dashma in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 10:06 am

There are many ways to create a dashma in Figma. The most common method is to use the Rectangle tool to draw a box around the area you want to dash.

Then, use the Pen tool to draw a line across the top of the box. Finally, use the Eraser tool to remove the portions of the line that extend beyond the edges of the box.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we recommend that you do not attempt to create a Dashma. Creating a Dashma in Figma can be complex and time-consuming. If you are not comfortable using Figma, please consult with a professional before attempting to create a Dashma.

Another way to create a dashma in Figma is to use the Line tool. First, draw a line across the top of the area you want to dash. Then, use the Eraser tool to remove the portions of the line that extend beyond the edges of the box.

Finally, you can also use the Pen tool to create a dashma.

Then, use the Pen tool to add points at regular intervals along the line.
