How do I create a fixed header in Squarespace?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:36 pm

Creating a fixed header in Squarespace is fairly simple. First, go to your account page and select the header image you would like to use. Next, click on the “Edit” button located next to the header. From here, you will be able to resize and move the header around as you please.

PRO TIP: There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on the individual template and design of your Squarespace website. However, many users have reported issues with creating fixed headers, particularly with regard to the positioning of the header elements. It is therefore advised that you use caution when attempting to create a fixed header on your Squarespace website, and seek assistance from a Squarespace expert if necessary.

However, be sure to keep the “Auto Fit” option selected, so that the header will automatically adjust to any width or height restrictions that may exist on your page. Finally, click on the “Save” button to finalize your changes.

Now that you have created a fixed header, be sure to include it on all of your pages. Including a fixed header not only makes your pages look nicer, but it also helps to improve the overall SEO of your site. Finally, don’t forget to save your changes before you leave!.
