Creating a grid of photos in Photoshop is a great way to display a large number of images in a small space. You can use a grid to create a collage, or to simply display a group of photos. Creating a grid is easy, and with a few simple steps, you can have your own grid of photos in no time.
Step 1:
Open Photoshop and create a new document. The size of your document will depend on how many photos you want to include in your grid.
For this example, we will create a document that is 8 inches by 10 inches.
Step 2:
Open the first photo that you want to include in your grid. Drag the photo into your Photoshop document. Repeat this step for each photo that you want to include in your grid.
Step 3:
Once all of your photos are in the document, select them all by holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) or the Command key (Mac) and clicking on each photo. Then, go to Edit > Auto-Align Layers.
Step 4:
In the Auto-Align Layers dialog box, select the “Reposition” option and click OK.
Step 5:
Now that your photos are aligned, you can select them all again (Ctrl/Command+click) and go to Edit > Auto-Blend Layers.
Step 6:
In the Auto-Blend Layers dialog box, select the “Stack Images” option and click OK.
Step 7: (Your photos should now be stacked on top of each other in one layer.)
Step 8:
Select the Move tool (shortcut: V), and then click and drag one of the photos to reposition it within the document.
Repeat this step until all of the photos are positioned how you’d like them.
