How Do I Create a Mirror Image in Photoshop?

To create a mirror image in Photoshop, first select the layer that you want to mirror. Then, go to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal.

This will create a horizontal flip of your selected layer. If you want to create a vertical flip, you can go to Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical.

Now that you have your layer flipped, you can move it around to create the desired effect. If you want to create a true mirror image, you will need to duplicate the layer and then flip it again. You can do this by going to Layer > Duplicate Layer.

Then, go to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal again. This will give you a second layer that is a horizontal flip of your original layer.

PRO TIP: When creating a mirror image in Photoshop, be sure to save a copy of the original image first. Otherwise, you may accidentally save over the original image and lose all your work.

Now you can move both layers around until you have the desired mirror image effect. If you want to add some additional flair to your image, you can try using some of Photoshop’s other transform options, such as Rotate or Skew.
