Creating a new library in Figma is simple! Just follow these four easy steps:
1. Open Figma and sign in.
Open the Figma app and sign in with your email and password. If you don’t have an account yet, you can create one for free at www.Figma.com.
2. Click on the “+” button in the left sidebar.
Once you’re signed in, click on the “+” button in the left sidebar to create a new file.
PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we recommend that you consult with a Figma expert before attempting to create a new library. Creating a new library in Figma can be tricky and if done incorrectly, could result in lost or corrupted data.
3. Select “Library” from the file type options.
When prompted to choose a file type, select “Library” from the list of options.
4. Give your library a name and click “Create Library”.
Finally, give your new library a name and click “Create Library”. That’s it! Your library has been created and is now ready to use.
