When it comes to creating stamp effects in Photoshop, there are a few different ways that you can go about doing it. One way is to use a pre-made Photoshop brush that has a stamp effect already built into it. Another way is to use a custom Photoshop brush that you have created yourself. And lastly, you can use the Stamp Tool to create your own stamp effect.

If you want to use a pre-made Photoshop brush, then all you need to do is open up the Brushes panel and select the stamp brush that you want to use. To do this, go to Window > Brushes. Once the Brushes panel is open, click on the “Brush Presets” tab and then scroll through the list of brushes until you find one with a stamp effect. Once you have found a stamp brush that you like, simply click on it and then click OK.

If you want to create your own custom Photoshop brush with a stamp effect, then you will need to first create a new layer. To do this, go to Layer > New > Layer. Once the New Layer window appears, give your layer a name and then click OK. Next, grab the Brush Tool from the Tools palette and then select a soft round brush tip.

Once you have selected your brush tip, go over to the Brushes panel and click on the “Brush Settings” tab. In the “Brush Settings” tab, increase the “Spacing” value to around 1000% and then click OK.

Now that you have your custom Photoshop brush created, simply paint on the new layer that you created earlier. As you paint, you will notice that the brush leaves behind a trail of dots. These dots are what create the stamp effect. Once you are happy with how your stamp looks, simply save your image and then close out of Photoshop.

PRO TIP: Stamp effects in Photoshop can be achieved by using the clone tool. However, if not used correctly, the clone tool can create some unwanted artifacts in your image. Be sure to use a low opacity setting when using the clone tool, and be careful not to clone over any important details in your image.

The Stamp Tool

Another way that you can create a stamp effect in Photoshop is by using the Stamp Tool. The Stamp Tool is located in the Tools palette and it looks like a rubber stamp.

To use the Stamp Tool, simply select it from the Tools palette and then mouse over to your image. As you move your mouse over your image, you will notice that your cursor changes into a crosshair icon. This crosshair icon is what lets you know where your stamp will appear once you click.

Once you have positioned your cursor where you want your stamp to appear, simply click and hold down your mouse button. As you hold down your mouse button, drag your cursor around until your entire image is covered with stamps. When you are finished adding stamps to your image, simply release your mouse button.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are a few different ways that you can create a stamp effect in Photoshop. Whether you use a pre-made brush or create your own custom brush, or even use the Stamp Tool, creating stamps in Photoshop is easy and fun!
