How Do I Create a Texture Map in Photoshop?

When it comes to creating textures, Photoshop is a powerhouse of a program. You can create all sorts of textures using the various tools and filters at your disposal.

In this article, we’ll show you how to create a texture map in Photoshop.

First, you’ll need to open up Photoshop and create a new document. For this example, we’ll be using a canvas size of 1024x768px.

Once you have your document set up, you’ll need to choose the appropriate tool for creating your texture. For this example, we’ll be using the Clone Stamp Tool.

With the Clone Stamp Tool selected, you’ll need to set your brush size and hardness. For this example, we’ll be using a brush size of 100px and a hardness of 50%.
