When it comes to design, we all have our own preferences and styles. But there are some things that are universally stylish, and one of those things is a virtual background. A virtual background can make any image look more polished and professional, and it’s a great way to add some personality to your photos.
Creating a virtual background in Canva is easy and only takes a few minutes. Here’s how:
First, open Canva and sign in or create an account. Then, click on the “Create a design” button and select the “Custom dimensions” option. In the pop-up window, enter the dimensions of your desired background (we recommend 1200×1920 pixels).
Next, click on the “Background” tab in the left-hand sidebar and select the “Photos” option. Here you can upload your own image or choose from Canva’s library of over 1 million stock images. Once you’ve selected your image, click on the “Apply” button.
If you want to add some text to your background, click on the “Text” tab in the left-hand sidebar and choose from Canva’s library of fonts. You can also add shapes, illustrations, and other design elements to your background by clicking on the appropriate tabs in the sidebar.
When you’re happy with your design, click on the “Download” button in the top-right corner of the screen and select either the “PNG” or “JPEG” option. Your virtual background is now ready to use!
