How do I create an iridescent effect in Photoshop?

    Creating an iridescent effect in Photoshop is not as hard as one might think. In this tutorial, we will show you the basic steps needed to create a beautiful iridescent effect in your images.

  1. Start by creating a new document in Photoshop.
  2. Select the Pen tool and start drawing a path around the outside of the document.
  3. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and draw a small circle around the path you just created.
  4. Select the Gradient Tool (G) and start drawing a gradient around the circle.
  5. Change the gradient type to Radial and change the colors to blue and green.
  6. Click on the Gradient Editor and change the Angle to 120 degrees.
  7. Click on the OK button to close the Gradient Editor.
  8. Select the Layer Mask icon in the Layers palette and click on the Add Layer Mask button.
  9. Select the Gradient Tool (G) and click on the Layer Mask icon in the Layers palette to hide the gradient.
  10. Save your document as iridescent.
PRO TIP: Please be aware that creating an iridescent effect in Photoshop can be difficult and time-consuming. If you are not careful, you may end up with an undesired result.
