How Do I Create an Order Form in Shopify?

Assuming you have a Shopify account (if not, you can sign up for one here), there are a few different ways to create an order form. One way is to use Shopify’s built-in order form builder.

To do this, log in to your Shopify admin and go to “Settings” > “Checkout.” On the Checkout page, scroll down to the “Order processing” section and look for the “Order forms” drop-down menu. Select “Build your own order form.”

Once you’ve selected “Build your own order form,” you’ll be taken to the order form builder page. On this page, you can add, remove, and rearrange fields as needed.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Shopify, we recommend that you seek help from a Shopify expert before creating an order form. There are many factors to consider when creating an order form, such as product availability, shipping methods, and taxes. If you create an order form without considering these factors, you may end up with an inaccurate or incomplete order.

You can also add custom fields (e.g., a text field for special instructions). Once you’re happy with your order form, click “Save.”

Another way to create an order form is to use a third-party app from the Shopify App Store. There are many different apps available, so take some time to browse and find one that suits your needs. Once you’ve found an app, install it and follow the instructions for setting it up.

You can also create an order form by coding it yourself using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If you’re not a developer or don’t feel comfortable coding, you can hire a developer to code an order form for you.

Creating an order form is a great way to streamline the ordering process for your customers. By taking the time to create a well-designed and user-friendly order form, you can make it easy for your customers to buy from you again and again.
