QR codes are those black and white squares you see everywhere. They’re on product packaging, in magazines, and in store windows. You’ve probably even seen them on business cards. And, if you have a smartphone, you’ve probably used one to get more information about something or to download an app.

QR codes are becoming more and more popular. They’re a quick and easy way to share information. And, they can be used to track data ( like how many people scan a QR code and when).

If you want to create your own QR code, there are a few different ways to do it. You can use a free online service like QR Code Generator or QRCode Monkey. Or, you can use a paid service like Unitag or Kaywa.

Creating a QR code with Canva is free and easy. Just follow these simple steps:

PRO TIP: When creating QR codes in Canva, be aware that there is a limit of 1,000 characters that can be encoded. If your QR code contains more than 1,000 characters, it will not be able to be read by a QR code scanner.
  1. Go to Canva. You’ll need to create an account if you don’t already have one.
  2. Click on “Use this template.”
  3. Enter the URL you want your QR code to link to in the “URL” box.
  4. Click on “Download.”

Your QR code will be downloaded as a PNG file.

You can then upload it to your website, include it in a PowerPoint presentation, or print it out.
