How do I customize my header in Squarespace?

If you’re like most Squarespace users, you probably have a few header designs you use on a regular basis. But what if you want to make your header unique? In this article, we’ll show you how to customize your header in Squarespace.

To customize your header, first click on “Your Profile” in the upper-left corner of the website. This will take you to your profile page. On the right side of this page, you’ll see a “Header” section.

In this section, you can customize your header image, background color, and text color. You can also use this section to add a banner or logo to your website.

To change the header image, click on the “Header Image” button. This will open a slideshow of your header images. To select a specific image, click on it and then click on the “Select” button. To change the header background color, click on the “Background Color” button.

This will open a palette of colors that you can use. To change the text color, click on the “Text Color” button. This will open a palette of colors that you can use.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with code, we recommend working with a developer to make changes to your site’s header. Making changes to your header can result in unwanted changes to your site if done incorrectly.

To add a banner or logo to your header, click on the “Banner” or “Logo” button. This will open a new window where you can add your banner or logo.

To change the size or position of your banner or logo, click on the “Banner” or “Logo” buttons and then click on the “Change Size” or “Change Position” buttons.

Finally, to finish customizing your header, click on the “Save” button. This will save your changes and return you to your profile page.
