How Do I Customize My Shopify Contact Page?

Last updated on January 9, 2023 @ 5:27 pm

Assuming you’re using the default Shopify theme, the first thing you’ll need to do is navigate to the “Contact” page within your Shopify admin. From here, you can click on the “Edit” link next to the “Contact Form” section:

On the next page, you’ll be able to edit the form itself, as well as the form’s settings. Under the “Form Settings” tab, you can specify who should receive the submitted form (e.g. yourself, a specific email address, or multiple email addresses), as well as whether or not you want to receive an email notification when someone submits the form.

You can also choose to have the form redirect to a specific URL after it has been successfully submitted. This can be useful if you want to redirect visitors to a thank-you page, for example.

under the “Form Fields” tab, you can add, remove, or reorder any of the fields that appear on the form. You can also edit the label for each field, and specify whether or not that field is required.

Finally, under the “Styles” tab, you can customize the look of your form by specifying a custom CSS class. This will allow you to add your own styling to the form using CSS.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML and CSS, we recommend that you seek help from a Shopify Expert or our support team before customizing your contact page. Making changes to your contact page without knowing HTML and CSS could break the functionality of your contact form, which could prevent customers from being able to contact you.
