How Do I Customize My Shopify Slip?

Last updated on January 11, 2023 @ 7:37 pm

You’ve just created your first Shopify store and you’re ready to start selling. The next step is to customize your shop’s look and feel to match your brand. One way to do this is to add a custom Shopify slip.

A Shopify slip is a piece of code that you can add to your shop’s CSS file. This code will change the way your shop’s checkout page looks. You can use a Shopify slip to add a custom logo, change the color scheme, or even add a new font.

To add a Shopify slip to your store, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your Shopify admin and go to Online Store > Themes.

    2. Find the theme you want to edit and click Edit code.

    3. In the Assets directory, click on the Add a new asset link.

    4. Select Create a new asset from the drop-down menu.

    5. Name your new asset and select Slip from the Asset Type drop-down menu.

    6. Paste your slip code into the text area and click Save asset.

    7. Your slip will now be added to your shop!

Adding a Shopify slip is an easy way to customize your shop’s checkout page. By adding just a few lines of code, you can change the look and feel of your shop to match your brand perfectly.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when customizing your Shopify slip, you could end up with a design that is less than professional. Make sure to take the time to create a well-designed slip that accurately represents your brand.
