How Do I Cut Audio in Canva?

There are a few different ways that you can go about cutting audio in Canva. The first way is to use the built in audio cutter tool. To do this, simply click on the “Audio” tab in the left hand sidebar and then click on the “Cutter” tool.

Once you’ve clicked on the cutter tool, you’ll see a new interface pop up. On this interface, you can upload an audio file from your computer or choose one of the many royalty free tracks that are available within Canva.

Once you have an audio file uploaded, you can then use the sliders to select which part of the track you’d like to keep and which part you’d like to cut out. Once you’re happy with your selection, simply click on the “Cut Audio” button and your new track will be saved automatically.

PRO TIP: If you are planning on cutting audio in Canva, be aware that there is no Undo button. Once you have cut your audio, it cannot be undone. Be sure to save your work often so that you can revert back to previous versions if necessary.

The second way that you can cut audio in Canva is to do it manually. To do this, click on the “audio” tab in the left sidebar and then select the “manual cutter” tool.

With the manual cutter tool, you can select a specific part of the track that you want to keep by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. Once you’ve made your selection, simply click on the “cut audio” button and your new track will be saved automatically.

So there you have it! Two different ways that you can go about cutting audio in Canva!
