How Do I Delete a Color in Figma?

When you’re working on a design in Figma, you may want to delete a color from your palette. Maybe you added it by mistake, or maybe you’re just not happy with it anymore.

Whatever the reason, deleting a color from your palette is easy to do. Here’s how:

First, open up the “Colors” panel on the right side of the screen. This is where all of the colors in your design are stored.

To delete a color, simply click on it and then hit the “delete” key on your keyboard. The color will be removed from your palette.

If you want to delete multiple colors at once, you can hold down the “shift” key while clicking on each color you want to remove. Then, hit the “delete” key and all of the selected colors will be deleted.

PRO TIP: When deleting a color in Figma, be sure to select the color you want to delete from the ” Colors ” panel. Then, click the trash can icon in the upper-right corner of the ” Colors ” panel.
