Are you looking to delete a customer on Shopify? Maybe you have a customer who is no longer active, or someone who has made too many returns and is now costing you money. Whatever the reason, deleting a customer on Shopify is easy to do.
In this article, we’ll show you how to delete a customer on Shopify in just a few steps. We’ll also provide some tips on what to do if you accidentally delete a customer, or if you need to delete multiple customers at once.
Deleting a single customer on Shopify:
1) Log in to your Shopify account and go to the “Customers” section of your admin panel.
2) Find the customer that you want to delete and click on their name or email address.
3) On the customer’s details page, scroll down to the bottom and click on the “Delete Customer” button.
4) Confirm that you want to delete the customer by clicking on the “Delete Customer” button again.
And that’s it! The customer will now be deleted from your Shopify account.
If you accidentally delete a customer, or if you change your mind after deleting a customer, you can always restore them by going to the “Deleted Customers” section of your admin panel. From there, you can search for the deleted customer and click on the “Restore” button next to their name.
Deleting multiple customers on Shopify:
If you need to delete more than one customer at a time, there are two ways to do it. The first option is to delete customers one at a time, as we showed above.
The second option is to use the “Bulk Actions” feature in your Shopify account. This feature allows you to delete multiple customers at once, as well as perform other actions such as marking customers as verified or sending them an email.
To use the bulk actions feature:
1) Log in to your Shopify account and go to the “Customers” section of your admin panel.
2) Check the box next to each customer that you want to delete. You can also select all customers by checking the box next to the “ID” column header.
