If you’re no longer interested in using your Squarespace domain, you can delete it from your account. Once deleted, the domain will become available for anyone to register.
Keep in mind that you can’t retrieve a deleted domain, so be certain that you no longer want to use it before you delete it.
To delete your domain:
1. Log into your Squarespace account and go to Domains.
2. Hover over the domain you want to delete and click the .. menu. 3.
Select Delete Domain. 4. In the pop-up modal, click Delete Domain. 5. When prompted, enter your password to confirm and complete the deletion.
PRO TIP: If you are considering deleting your domain on Squarespace, please be aware that this action is irreversible. Once you have deleted your domain, you will not be able to recover it. Please be sure that you really want to delete your domain before taking this action.
