If your account has been suspended, you may be wondering how you can delete it. While we can’t delete your account for you, there are a few things you can do to remove your account from our system.
If you no longer want to use UpWork and would like your account removed, the best thing to do is to close your account. To do this, log into your account and go to the ‘Settings’ tab.
At the bottom of the page, there will be an option to ‘Close Account’. Once you click this, your account will be closed and you will no longer be able to use our services.
If you have any outstanding payments owed to freelancers or agencies, please make sure these are paid off before closing your account. Once your account is closed, you will not have access to any of your financial information or transactions.
