How Do I Direct Checkout in WooCommerce?

In WooCommerce, there are two ways to direct your customers to checkout:

1. By clicking on the “Checkout” button in the shopping cart

When a customer clicks on the “Checkout” button in their shopping cart, they will be redirected to the WooCommerce checkout page where they can enter their billing and shipping information.

PRO TIP: If you are using the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress, you may be wondering how to direct checkout in WooCommerce. By default, WooCommerce will take customers to the shopping cart page after they add an item to their cart. From there, they can either continue shopping or proceed to checkout.

However, you can change this behavior and redirect customers to the checkout page immediately after they add an item to their cart. This can be useful if you only sell one type of product or if you want to reduce the number of steps required to complete a purchase.

To change this behavior, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout and look for the “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition” setting. Change this setting to “No” and save your changes. Now when customers add items to their cart, they will be taken directly to the checkout page.

2. By adding a “Buy Now” button to your product pages

If you want to give your customers the option to purchase your products without having to add them to their shopping cart, you can add a “Buy Now” button to your product pages. When a customer clicks on this button, they will be redirected to the WooCommerce checkout page where they can enter their billing and shipping information.

Conclusion:
You can direct your customers to checkout in WooCommerce by clicking on the “Checkout” button in the shopping cart or by adding a “Buy Now” button to your product pages.
