How Do I Display Shipping in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:45 pm

There are a few different ways that you can display shipping information in WooCommerce. One way is to use the built-in shipping calculator.

This can be found under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping. Once you have the shipping calculator enabled, you will need to add your shipping rates. These can be added by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Add Shipping Rate.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products online, it is important to set up shipping correctly. Otherwise, your customers may not be able to receive their orders.

There are a few things to keep in mind when setting up shipping for WooCommerce:

1. Make sure you have a shipping method enabled and configured. WooCommerce comes with several shipping methods (including flat rate and free shipping), but you will need to configure them first.

2. Set up your shipping zones and rates. This will determine how much your customers will be charged for shipping, based on their location.

3. Choose the right packaging for your products. This will ensure that your orders arrive safely and in good condition.

4. Use a reliable shipping carrier. This will help to ensure that your orders are delivered on time and without any issues.

Another way to display shipping information is to use a plugin. There are a few different plugins that you can use, but one of the most popular is the Table Rate Shipping plugin. This plugin allows you to create custom shipping rates based on various criteria such as weight, destination, etc.

Once you have either the shipping calculator or a plugin installed and configured, you will need to add a shipping method to your WooCommerce products. This can be done by going to WooCommerce > Products and editing a product. On the product edit screen, scroll down to the Shipping section and select a shipping method from the dropdown menu.

Once you have added a shipping method to your products, you can then start displaying shipping information on your WooCommerce store.
