How Do I Edit a Summary on Squarespace?

If you want to edit a summary on your Squarespace website, there are a few different ways you can do it. One way is to simply click on the summary element on your page, and then click on the pencil icon that appears. This will allow you to edit the text directly.

Another way to edit a summary is to click on the “edit” link that appears when you hover over the summary element. This will take you to the Edit Summary page, where you can make changes to the text and also change the summary’s settings.

To style text in HTML using <p>,<b> and <u> tags, first make sure that your text is enclosed within the appropriate tags. For example, if you want to make a certain word bold, you would enclose it in <b> tags.

If you want to underline text, you would enclose it in <u> tags. And if you want to create a paragraph, you would enclose your text in <p> tags.

Once your text is properly tagged, you can then add CSS styles to those tags to change their appearance. For example, if you want all of your <b> tags to be red, you would add the following CSS code to your website’s stylesheet:

b { color: red; }

You can also style individual elements by using specific CSS selectors. For example, if you only want to style the first <b> tag on your page, you would use the following CSS selector:

b:first-child { color: red; }

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when editing your summary on Squarespace, you could unintentionally delete important content or change the meaning of your writing. Always save a backup copy of your work before making any changes.
