If you’re using Shopify for your ecommerce website, you might want to use a popup newsletter signup form to encourage visitors to subscribe. Popups can be effective in getting visitors to sign up for your newsletter, but you might want to edit the default popup to match your store’s branding or make other changes. Fortunately, Shopify makes it easy to edit your popup newsletter signup form. In this article, we’ll show you how to edit your popup newsletter signup form in Shopify.

First, log into your Shopify admin and go to Online Store > Themes. Then, click the Actions button next to the theme you want to edit and select Edit code from the dropdown menu.

In the Edit HTML/CSS page, click on the Assets folder on the left side. Then, find the NewsletterPopup.liquid file and click on it to open it in the code editor.

The code for the popup newsletter signup form is in this file. You can make changes to the appearance of the form by editing the HTML code. For example, if you want to change the heading of the form, you would find the following line of code:

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with HTML code, we do not recommend editing your newsletter popup in Shopify. Doing so could break the code on your site, which could result in your site not functioning properly.

< h2 class="heading" >Sign up for our newsletter< /h2 >

You can then change the text between the < h2 > tags to whatever you want. For example, you could change it to < h2 class="heading" >Subscribe to our newsletter< /h2 >.

Once you’ve made your changes, click Save. Your changes will now be live on your website.

That’s how easy it is to edit your popup newsletter signup form in Shopify! By making a few simple changes to the code, you can customize the form to match your store’s branding or make other changes.
