How Do I Edit Text in Wix Mobile?

Last updated on January 3, 2023 @ 8:16 pm

Assuming you have a Wix site:

Log in to your Wix account and go to the Editor.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

Click on the text element you want to edit and a toolbar will appear at the top of the Editor.

PRO TIP: When editing text in Wix Mobile, it is important to be aware that the text editor is not WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). This means that the text you see in the editor may not match the text that is displayed on your mobile device.

If you are not careful, you may end up with text that is too small or too large, or that does not fit properly on your screen. Be sure to check your text carefully before publishing your site.

To edit the text:

  • Click on the text element you want to edit.
  • A toolbar will appear at the top of the Editor.
  • Click on the Edit Text icon in the toolbar (it looks like a pencil).
  • The text will be displayed in a box where you can make your changes.
  • Click OK. Your changes will be saved automatically.

To format the text:

  1. Bold: Select the text you want to make bold and click on the B icon in the toolbar (it looks like a capital B).
  2. Italic: Select the text you want to make italic and click on the I icon in the toolbar (it looks like a capital I).
  3. Underline: Select the text you want to underline and click on the U icon in the toolbar (it looks like a capital U).
