How Do I Edit WooCommerce Plugins?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 5:08 pm

When it comes to WooCommerce, there are a few different ways that you can edit plugins. You can either do it directly through the code, or you can use a plugin to help you with the process.

If you’re comfortable working with code, then editing the plugin directly is probably the best option for you. You’ll need to access the WooCommerce plugin directory, which is located at /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/. From here, you can edit any of the WooCommerce plugins that you have installed on your site.

If you’re not comfortable working with code, or if you want a more user-friendly option, then using a plugin is probably the better choice. There are a few different plugins that can help you with this, but we recommend using one called “WooCommerce Customizer”. This plugin will let you easily edit any of the WooCommerce plugins that you have installed, without having to touch any code.

PRO TIP: When editing WooCommerce plugins, it is important to create a backup of your site first. This will ensure that you can restore your site if something goes wrong during the editing process.

Once you’ve installed and activated the WooCommerce Customizer plugin, you’ll need to head to Appearance > Customize from your WordPress dashboard. From here, you’ll be able to select the “WooCommerce” tab, which will take you to the settings page for this plugin.

On the settings page, you’ll see a list of all the WooCommerce plugins that are currently installed on your site. To edit a plugin, simply click on its name and then make your changes. Once you’re done, click on the “Save Changes” button and your changes will be saved.

So there you have it! Two different ways that you can edit WooCommerce plugins.

If you’re comfortable working with code, then editing the plugin directly is probably the best option for you. However, if you want a more user-friendly option, then using a plugin like WooCommerce Customizer is probably the better choice.
