How do I enable art brush in Illustrator?

Art brush is a brush type in Illustrator that allows you to create textures and patterns with a variety of brush strokes. To enable art brush in Illustrator:

1. In the Illustrator toolbar, click the Brush tool (B), and then click the Art Brush tool (A).

2. In the Options bar, select the Pattern check box.

3. In the Options bar, select the Size check box.

4. In the Options bar, select the Hardness check box.

5. In the Options bar, select the Type check box.

6. In the Options bar, select the Blending Mode check box.

7. In the Options bar, select the Opacity check box.

8. In the Options bar, select the Stroke check box.

9. In the Options bar, select the Color check box.

10. Click the Art Brush tool (A) to begin creating a brush.

11. Use the brush to create a texture or pattern, and then click the Stroke button (S) to apply the brush stroke.

12. To change the brush properties, click the Options button (O) and then click the Brush tab.

13. In the Brush Properties dialog box, use the options to change the brush characteristics.

14. To close the Brush Properties dialog box, click the OK button (F).

15. To save the brush settings, click the File button (A), and then click the Save button (S).

16. To use the brush in a drawing, double-click the file to open it in Illustrator.

PRO TIP: When creating an art brush in Illustrator, be sure to set the correct options in the Art Brush Options dialog box. Otherwise, you may end up with unpredictable results.
