Enabling Lightbox in your site’s settings is the easiest way to do it. Just go to your settings, click on the “Lightbox” tab, and then toggle the switch to “On.” Once you’ve done that, all of your images will have Lightbox enabled.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that enabling Lightbox in Squarespace can result in unexpected behaviour and may cause problems with your site. We recommend only doing this if you are comfortable troubleshooting issues that may arise.

Replace “IMAGE URL” with the URL of the image you want to have Lightbox enabled, “LIGHTBOX ID” with a unique identifier for this image (you can use anything here), and “IMAGE TITLE” with the title of the image.

Once you’ve added that code, your image will have Lightbox enabled. You can add as many images as you want using this method.
