How Do I Enable PayPal Checkout in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 8:14 pm

When you run an online business, there are many different payment options to choose from. However, one of the most popular choices is PayPal.

If you’re using WooCommerce to run your online store, you might be wondering how to enable PayPal checkout. Luckily, it’s a pretty simple process.

PRO TIP: If you are enabling PayPal Checkout on your WooCommerce store, please be aware that this will allow customers to pay with PayPal. This means that they will be able to use their PayPal balance, or linked bank account, to pay for their order. Please be sure that you are comfortable with this before enabling PayPal Checkout.

In order to enable PayPal checkout in WooCommerce, you’ll need to first install and activate the WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway plugin. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to go to your WooCommerce settings page and navigate to the Checkout tab. From there, you’ll be able to enable PayPal as a payment option.

Once you’ve enabled PayPal checkout, you’ll need to enter your PayPal email address in the settings page so that customers can be redirected to your PayPal account when they’re ready to make a purchase.

And that’s it! Once you’ve followed these steps, you’ll have successfully enabled PayPal checkout in WooCommerce. Customers will now be able to use PayPal to pay for their purchases on your website.
