SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a security protocol that helps protect your online transactions from being intercepted by hackers. SSL is enabled by default on Shopify, but you can also enable SSL if you’d like to ensure your online transactions are more secure.

To enable SSL on Shopify:

1. Go to your Shopify admin panel and click on the “Settings” link in the top left corner.

2. On the “Settings” page, click on the “SSL” tab.

3. On the “SSL” tab, you’ll see a list of different options.

To enable SSL on Shopify, click on the “Enable SSL” button.

4. You’ll now need to enter your Shopify account’s SSL certificate details.

To find your SSL certificate details, go to your Shopify admin panel and click on the “Certificates” link in the top left corner.

PRO TIP: If you are enabling SSL on your Shopify store, you may experience some issues with your checkout process. Please make sure to test your checkout thoroughly before going live with SSL.

5. On the “Certificates” page, you’ll see a list of all of your Shopify certificates. Click on the “Add New” button next to the “SSL” certificate you want to use and enter the following information:

– Name: Shopify SSL
– Domain: yourdomain.com
– Certificate File: /path/to/your/Shopify-ssl-cert.pem
– Private Key File: /path/to/your/Shopify-ssl-private-key.pem.

6. Click on the “Save” button to save your changes.

7. Finally, you’ll need to restart your Shopify server to apply these changes.

To do this, go to your Shopify admin panel and click on the “Shop” link in the top left corner. Then, click on the “Restart Shopify” button.
