How do I enable SSL on Weebly?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 4:52 am

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a cryptographic protocol that provides a secure connection between two devices over the internet. SSL is used by websites to encrypt the data that is transmitted between the website and the user’s browser.

This ensures that the data is secure and private.

To enable SSL on Weebly, first open your Weebly account and click on the Settings tab. Next, click on the Security tab and under the SSL section, click on the Enable SSL checkbox.

PRO TIP: Weebly does not offer the option to enable SSL on their platform. This means that any website hosted on Weebly is not secure, and any information entered on the site (including passwords and credit card information) is not protected. This is a serious security concern, and we recommend that you do not use Weebly for any sensitive information.

Finally, click on the Save Changes button.
