When you first set up your WooCommerce store, you may want to offer free shipping to your customers. This can be a great way to encourage people to buy from your store.

However, there may come a time when you need to exclude free shipping from your store. There are a few different ways to do this.

One way to exclude free shipping is to create a shipping class and then assign products to that class. Products in the shipping class will not be eligible for free shipping.

To create a shipping class, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping. Under Shipping Classes, click Add Shipping Class. Enter a name and description for the class and then save changes.

Once the shipping class has been created, you can assign products to it. Go to the product page and scroll down to the Shipping section.

Select the shipping class you created from the Shipping Class dropdown. Save changes.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products online, you may want to offer free shipping as an incentive to customers. However, you may also want to exclude certain products from free shipping. For example, you may want to charge for shipping on heavy or bulky items. In this case, you can use the ‘Exclude Free Shipping’ setting in WooCommerce to exclude these items from free shipping.

Another way to exclude free shipping is with a plugin. There are a few plugins that allow you to exclude products from free shipping.

One of these plugins is Flexible Shipping for WooCommerce. With this plugin, you can create rules that exclude certain products from free shipping. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Flexible Shipping.

Click Add Rule and then enter a name for the rule. In the Conditions section, select Product from the first dropdown and is not from the second dropdown. In the Product field, enter the product ID or SKU of the product you want to exclude from free shipping.

You can also add conditions for other things like category, tag, price, weight, and more. Once you have added all the conditions for the rule, click Save changes.

Conclusion:
There are a few different ways that you can exclude free shipping in WooCommerce. You can create a shipping class and assign products to that class, or you can use a plugin like Flexible Shipping for WooCommerce.
