How Do I Export a Figma Site?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:01 am

There are a few things you need to do in order to successfully export a Figma site. First, you need to make sure that all of your pages are properly laid out and that all of your content is in place.

Secondly, you need to export your images and other media assets. And finally, you need to style your text in HTML using the appropriate tags.

Assuming you have a completed website design in Figma, the first step is to go to the File menu and select “Export”. You’ll see a variety of options for different file formats – choose “HTML”. Once you’ve done that, select which pages you want to include in the export. If you want to include all pages, simply select “All Pages” from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: When exporting a Figma file as a website, please be aware that certain features may not be supported or may not work as expected.

Some things to keep in mind:

– not all Figma elements will be exported (e.g. groups, nested frames, etc.)
– some properties (e.g. text formatting, layout, etc.) may be lost when exporting
– interactivity (e.g. hover states, links, etc.) will not be preserved

The next step is to export your images and other media assets. To do this, go to the File menu and select “Export”. Again, you’ll see a variety of options for different file formats – this time, choose “Images”.

Once you’ve done that, select which assets you want to include in the export. If you want to include all assets, simply select “All Assets” from the drop-down menu.

The last step is to style your text in HTML using the appropriate tags. Again, you’ll see a variety of options for different file formats – this time, choose “Text”. Once you’ve done that, select which text elements you want to include in the export. If you want to include all text elements, simply select “All Text Elements” from the drop-down menu.

That’s it! You should now have everything you need to successfully export a Figma site.
