How do I export a Figma to Google Slides?

If you want to export your Figma project to Google Slides, you’ll first need to create a Slides account. Once you have an account, open the Slides app and sign in. From the main menu, select File > Export. On the Export page, select Figma as your project type and select your project’s folder. (If you don’t have a project folder, you can create one by clicking the New Project button and entering a name for your project.)

PRO TIP: There is no direct way to export a figma to Google Slides. The recommended workaround is to first export the figma as a PNG or JPG, and then insert the image into a Google Slide.

In the Figma Export Options section, select the Files of Type drop-down and select Slides. In the File Name field, enter a name for your exported file and select a destination for your file. Click Export. After your file has been exported, open it in the Slides app and follow the instructions on the screen.

Alternatively, you can go to File>Export frames to PDF option. This will export your Figma file into PDF format.

Go to Figma file menu and click Export frames to PDF

Then, in Google Slides go to the File menu and click Import slides.

Go to Google slide file menu and click Import slides

Then import your Figma PDF file to Google Slides. If for some reason the file is not supported, you probably need to convert it to an acceptable format first.

Follow the prompt of Google Slides and choose which format you want to convert your Figma file. For this example, we will convert the PDF to PPTX format through Adobe Acrobat. Download the file once done.

Go to a PDF to Google slides or PPTX converter and select the file you want to convert

Then import it back to Google Slides. You should now see all the Figma PDF frame files. Select all slides and choose either to keep the original theme or not before clicking Import slides.
