Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 10:23 pm

Are you looking to move your WooCommerce store to a new platform? Maybe you’re just trying to create a backup of your current store.

Either way, you’ll need to export your WooCommerce product list. In this article, we’ll show you how to export a list from WooCommerce in just a few easy steps.

Before we get started, you’ll need to make sure that you have a few things set up and ready to go:

  • A WooCommerce store
  • An FTP client (we recommend FileZilla)
  • A text editor (we recommend Notepad++ or Sublime Text)

With those things out of the way, let’s get started!

PRO TIP: If you are thinking about exporting a list from WooCommerce, be aware that this is not a simple process. There are many steps involved, and if you’re not careful, you could end up losing important data or worse, damaging your store.

We recommend that you seek professional help before attempting to export a list from WooCommerce.

Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

The first thing you’ll need to do is log in to your WordPress dashboard. You can do this by going to your website’s URL and adding /wp-admin to the end. For example, if your website’s URL is example.com, you would go to example.com/wp-admin.

Step 2: Go to the WooCommerce Export Page

Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to your WordPress dashboard. From here, hover over the “WooCommerce” tab in the left-hand sidebar and click on “Export.” This will take you to the WooCommerce Export page.

Step 3: Choose What You Want to Export

On the WooCommerce Export page, you’ll see a number of different options for what you can export. For our purposes, we’re going to focus on exporting products.

To do this, simply select the “Products” option from the “Export Type” drop-down menu. Then, click on the “Export Products” button.
