How Do I Export a Sketch to Figma?

Sketch is a vector drawing and animation software for MacOS, developed by Bohemian Coding. It is primarily used by designers for creating user interfaces, icons, and other design elements for both web and mobile applications.

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool, developed by Silicon Valley startup Figma, Inc. It is used by designers to create user interfaces, icons, and other design elements for both web and mobile applications.

So, how do you export a Sketch file to Figma?

The first thing you need to do is open the Sketch file you want to export in Sketch.

Then, click on File > Export. In the window that opens up, select Figma from the list of export options on the left.

On the right side of the window, select the scale at which you want to export your Sketch file. The default scale is 1x, but you can choose from a range of scales from 0.25x to 4x.

PRO TIP: When exporting a sketch to Figma, be sure to select the correct file format. Otherwise, your file may not be compatible with Figma.

Once you’ve selected the appropriate scale, click on the Export button at the bottom of the window.

Your Sketch file will now be exported as a Figma file!

How Do I Export a Sketch to Figma?


To export a Sketch file to Figma, first open the Sketch file in Sketch. Then click on File > Export. In the window that opens up, select Figma from the list of export options on the left. On the right side of the window, select the scale at which you want to export your Sketch file.
