How Do I Export a Website From Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 10:18 am

The first thing you need to do is open Figma and log in. If you don’t have an account, sign up for one.

Once you’re logged in, find the project you want to export from Figma. Click on the file, then click on the “..” icon in the top-right corner of the project.

In the drop-down menu, click “Export.”

In the window that pops up, select whether you want to export as an HTML file or a CSS file. If you’re not sure, choose HTML.

Click “Export” again.

Figma will then ask you where you want to save the file. Choose a location and click “Save.”

The file will export and you’re done!

PRO TIP: When exporting a website from Figma, it is important to be aware that any changes made to the design in Figma will not be automatically updated in the exported website. If you need to make changes to the website, you will need to re-export the design from Figma and update the website manually.

That’s all there is to it! With just a few clicks, you can export your Figma projects as HTML or CSS files.
