If you’re working on a design in Figma and need to share it with someone, you can export it as an image. This is useful if you need to send a screenshot or include the design in a document.

You can export an artboard as a PNG, JPG, or SVG file. Here’s how:

1. In Figma, select the artboard you want to export. 2. Click the Export button in the top toolbar.

3. Choose your file format and size from the drop-down menus. 4. Click Export.

You can also export individual layers as images. This is helpful if you only need to export part of the design, or if you need a higher resolution image. To do this:

PRO TIP: When exporting an artboard in Figma, be sure to check the file format you are exporting to. Some file formats do not support artboards, and you may lose some of your work if you export to one of those file formats.

1. In Figma, select the layer you want to export.

Once you’ve exported your design, you can open the file in your preferred image viewer or editor to view or further edit it.
