If you’re working with a lot of data, you may want to export it from Figma to an XML file. Here’s how:

  1. First, open the file you want to export in Figma.
  2. Click on the “File” menu item in the top bar.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select “Export..”
  4. In the Export window that appears, select “XML” from the “Format” drop-down menu.
  5. Click the “Export” button.
  6. In the next window that appears, select where you want to save the file and click the “Save” button.

That’s it! You’ve now exported your file as an XML file.

XML is a great format for storing and sharing data. By exporting your data from Figma, you can make it available to others who can use it in their own projects.

PRO TIP: When exporting an XML file from Figma, be sure to select the correct file type. Otherwise, you may end up with a file that cannot be opened in your desired program.
