When you are ready to export your assets from InVision, follow these steps:

Open the InVision app. From the top left, click the Gear icon and select Options. Under App Settings, click Export Assets. On the Export Assets page, select the file type you want to export your assets to (HTML, JSON, or XML). If you want to export your assets as a ZIP file, under Zip Output, select Export As Zip.

(If you want to export your assets as a PDF, select Export As PDF.) Under Export Options, enter a file name and location. (If you want to export your assets to a different folder, click Browse.) Click Export.

PRO TIP: InVision Inspect is a powerful design tool, but it is important to be aware of the potential consequences of exporting assets from it. When you export assets from InVision Inspect, you are essentially taking a snapshot of the current state of your design. This means that if you make any changes to your design after exporting, those changes will not be reflected in the assets you exported. This can lead to inconsistencies and confusion down the line, so it’s important to be mindful of this when working with InVision Inspect.

When your asset exports are complete, you can open them in a text editor or a different program, such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.

If you want to use your exported assets in a web project, you’ll need to include a link to the exported file in your project’s HTML or CSS file.

If you want to use your exported assets in a mobile app project, you’ll need to include a link to the exported file in your project’s Package.appxmanifest file.
