Assuming you have a project open in Figma, follow these steps to export assets:
1.In the left sidebar, click the “Files” tab. This will bring up all of the projects you currently have open in Figma.
2.Click on the project that contains the assets you want to export. This will open up the project in the main window.
3.Click on the “Layer” tab in the left sidebar. This will bring up all of the layers and groups in your project.
4.Select the layer or group that contains the asset you want to export. The selected layer or group will be highlighted in blue.
5.Click on the “Export” icon in the top toolbar.
A drop-down menu will appear.
6.Click on “Export Selected..” from the drop-down menu. This will open up the “Export” dialogue box.
7.In the “Export” dialogue box, select the file format you want to export your asset as. You can also choose to export your asset at a specific scale or resolution by clicking on the “Advanced Options” button.
8.Click on the “Export” button. Your asset will be exported as a separate file in your chosen file format.
