How Do I Export Colors From Figma to Zeplin?

When it comes to digital design, color is one of the most important aspects. And when you’re working on a project in Figma, chances are you’ll want to export your colors to Zeplin at some point. Luckily, there’s a way to do this!

In Figma, open up the project that contains the colors you want to export. Then, go to the “File” menu and select “Export…” from the dropdown. In the Export window that appears, make sure “Colors” is selected from the “Format” dropdown.

Next, click on the “Export” button and choose where you want to save the file. When you’re done, open up Zeplin and go to the “Styles” tab. Then, click on the “+ Import Styles” button and select the file you just exported from Figma.

That’s it! Your Figma colors will now be available in Zeplin. Now when you create designs in Zeplin, you can easily apply your Figma colors to them.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to export colors from Figma to Zeplin, be warned that this is not possible. While you can export images and other design elements from Figma, colors cannot be exported to Zeplin.
