How Do I Export Comments From Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 10:19 am

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first interface design tool with real-time collaboration. It’s still in beta, but I’ve been using it for a few months now and I absolutely love it!

One of the things I love most about Figma is the ease with which you can export comments. Comments are incredibly useful when collaborating with others on a design project, as they allow you to leave feedback directly on the design itself. But up until now, if you wanted to export those comments, you had to do so manually.

Thankfully, Figma has just released a new feature that allows you to export comments with just a few clicks. Here’s how it works:

  1. First, open the file that contains the comments you want to export.
  2. Next, click the ‘Export’ button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. In the Export window that appears, select ‘Comments’ from the list of options.
  4. Finally, click ‘Export’ and choose where you want to save the file.

That’s all there is to it! Exporting comments from Figma is now quick and easy.

PRO TIP: When exporting comments from Figma, be sure to check the format of the file you are exporting to. Comments can only be exported to a .txt file. If you attempt to export to any other file type, the comments will not be exported.

Now that we know how to export comments from Figma, let’s take a look at how we can style text using HTML tags.HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language – the language used to style text on web pages. Using HTML tags, we can make text bold, italicized, or underlined. We can also change the font size, color, and alignment of text.

Let’s take a look at how this works:

The tag makes text bold. The tag makes text italicized. The tag makes text underlined. And the

tag changes the paragraph alignment.

This paragraph is centered.

This paragraph is aligned to the right.

This text is 24px.

This text is in Arial font.
