Are you looking to move your WooCommerce store to a new platform? Maybe you’re considering a change in eCommerce platforms, or perhaps you’re just looking to create a backup of your customer data.
Whatever the reason, you’ll need to export your WooCommerce customers at some point.
Luckily, exporting customers from WooCommerce is a pretty straightforward process. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps of exporting your WooCommerce customers using the built-in WordPress export tool.
First, you’ll need to log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Tools > Export. From here, you’ll see a list of different types of data that you can export from your WordPress site.
For our purposes, we’ll be selecting Customers.
Once you’ve selected Customers, you’ll be given the option to export all customers or only those that have placed an order. We recommend exporting all customers, as this will give you the most complete data set.
However, if you only want to export customers who have placed an order, you can select that option as well.
Once you’ve made your selection, click on the Export Customers button and WordPress will generate a CSV file of your customer data. This CSV file can then be imported into a new eCommerce platform or used to create a backup of your customer data.
