In this article, we’ll show you how to export your Figma prototype to your phone. By following these simple steps, you’ll be able to view your prototype on your phone’s screen just like you would on your computer. Plus, you can even test out interactions and share your prototype with others.

First, open up your Figma file and click on the “Share” button in the top-right corner. A pop-up window will appear with a few different options for sharing your file.

Select the “Get link” option and then click on the “Copy link” button. This will copy the link to your clipboard so that you can paste it into your browser.

Next, open up a new tab in your browser and paste the link into the address bar. You should see a preview of your Figma file on the screen.

If you’re not signed in to Figma, you’ll be prompted to do so now. Once you’re signed in, click on the “Open in App” button in the top-right corner.

PRO TIP: When exporting a Figma prototype to your phone, be sure to check the export settings to ensure that the file format is compatible with your phone’s operating system. In particular, iPhones and iPads use a different file format than Android devices.

If you don’t have the Figma app installed on your phone, you’ll be redirected to the App Store (for iPhone) or Google Play Store (for Android) to download it. Once the app is installed, open it up and sign in with the same account that you used to sign in on the website. Then, you should see your Figma file open up in the app.

To view your prototype on your phone’s screen, simply click on the “Prototype” tab at the top of the screen. Then, click on the “Play” button in the bottom-right corner. Your prototype will start playing and you can use your phone’s touchscreen to interact with it just like you would on your computer.

That’s all there is to it! By following these simple steps, you can export your Figma prototype to your phone and view it just like you would on your computer.
