Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 1:43 pm

Figma is a vector graphics editor and prototyping tool – the first of its kind. With Figma, you can easily create high-fidelity prototypes that look and feel like the real thing, without a single line of code. And now, with our new export feature, you can turn your Figma designs into working prototypes in Axure RP.

How do I export from Figma to Axure?

Exporting your Figma design to Axure is simple and only takes a few clicks. Here’s how:

    1. Open your design in Figma
    2. Select the frame or component that you want to export
    3. Click the “Export” icon in the toolbar (it looks like a downward arrow)
    4. Choose “Export to Axure” from the dropdown menu
    5. That’s it! Your design will be exported as an .apx file that you can then open in Axure RP.

Why should I export my Figma design to Axure?

There are many reasons why you might want to export your Figma design to Axure RP. Here are just a few:

    1. You can turn your design into a working prototype, complete with interactions and animations, without having to rebuild it from scratch in Axure.
    2. Exporting from Figma preserves your design’s vector quality, so you don’t have to worry about losing fidelity when you import it into Axure.
    3. You can quickly iterate on your design by making changes in Figma and then exporting them to Axure – no need to manually update your prototype every time.

So if you’re looking to take your prototyping to the next level, give our new export feature a try and see how easy it is to turn your Figma designs into working prototypes in Axure RP.

PRO TIP: When exporting from Figma to Axure, it is important to note that any changes made in Figma will not be automatically updated in Axure. Therefore, it is necessary to export the file from Figma again and overwrite the existing file in Axure each time a change is made.
