How Do I Export From Figma to Webflow?

Last updated on November 25, 2022 @ 1:51 am

When it comes to designing for the web, Figma is one of the most popular tools out there. That’s because Figma’s interface is built for collaboration, making it easy for designers to work together on a project. And when it comes to exporting those designs to code, Figma has you covered there too — you can export your Figma design as HTML, CSS, and even JavaScript.

But what if you want to take your Figma design and export it to another platform? That’s where Webflow comes in.

Webflow is a visual drag-and-drop website builder that lets you create responsive websites without having to write code. And with Webflow’s new Figma integration, you can now export your Figma designs directly into Webflow.

To export your Figma design into Webflow, first make sure you have the latest version of the Webflow app installed. Then, open up your Figma design in the Webflow app. Once your design is open, click on the “Export” button in the top-right corner.

PRO TIP: When exporting from Figma to Webflow, be aware that any changes made in Figma will not be automatically updated in Webflow. If you need to make changes to your design, be sure to update both the Figma file and the Webflow project accordingly.

In the Export window that appears, select “Webflow” from the “Format” dropdown menu. Then, choose what format you want to export your design as: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. You can also choose to include images in your export.

Once you’ve made your selections, click on the “Export” button and wait for your design to be exported to Webflow. Once the export is complete, you’ll be able to see your design in the Webflow Designer.
