How do I export WooCommerce settings?

When you first set up WooCommerce, you likely selected to export your settings to a file. This is a great way to keep your settings organized and easy to access. To export your settings:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings.

2. On the left, under “General”, click “Export Settings”.

3. In the “Export Settings” window, select a location to save your settings.

4. Click “Export”.

5. In the “Export Settings” window, you’ll see a file called “wc_settings.

php”.

6. Open wc_settings.

php in your favorite editor.

7. In the “General” section, you’ll find your settings.

You can also find useful information such as your site’s hostname and IP address in the “Info” section.

8. In the “Posts” section, you’ll find your WooCommerce posts.

Each post has an associated settings file.

9. In the “Products” section, you’ll find your WooCommerce products.

Each product has an associated settings file.

10. In the “Customers” section, you’ll find your WooCommerce customers.

Each customer has an associated settings file.

11. In the “Shop” section, you’ll find your WooCommerce shop.

Each shop has an associated settings file.

12. In the “WooCommerce” section, you’ll find your WooCommerce settings.

You can find your site’s hostname and IP address in the “Info” section.

PRO TIP: The WooCommerce plugin is installed and active but the WooCommerce pages are not appearing in the WordPress admin.

To export WooCommerce settings:

1. Go to: WooCommerce > Settings.
2. Select the tab at the top of the screen that corresponds to the settings you wish to export (e.g. General, Products, Shipping, etc).
3. Select Export Settings from the bottom of the screen.
4. Choose whether to Export All Settings or only Custom Settings. Custom settings are those which have been changed from their default values.
5. Click Generate Export File to download a JSON file with your settings.

13. If you want to make any changes to your settings, you can do so in the “General” section.

You can also change your site’s name and template in the “Site” section.

14. Click “Save”.

15. Your settings have been saved and will be updated when you next launch WooCommerce.
