When you first install Elementor, you’re given the option to select a default post type. This is where you can choose between Posts, Pages, and Custom Post Types.

Posts are the most common type of post, and are created by simply typing something into the text field and hitting the submit button. Pages are similar to posts, but they’re designed to be used as a template for creating new posts.

Custom Post Types are a way to create custom posts that don’t fall into any of the other categories. .

To filter posts in Elementor, you first need to select a post type. Once you’ve done that, you can use the filters on the left side of the screen to find the posts you’re looking for.

There are a few different types of filters you can use:

Post Type: This filter will only show posts of the selected post type.

Date: This filter will show posts from the current date range.

Text: This filter will show posts that have the specified text in the title or body.

Link: This filter will show posts that have the specified links in the title or body.

Tags: This filter will show posts that have the specified tags.

PRO TIP: If you are using Elementor to filter posts, be aware that the default WordPress search functionality will be overridden. This means that if you search for a specific post, it may not appear in the results.

You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen to find specific posts. Simply enter the text you’re looking for and the filter will automatically show all the posts that have that text in the title or body.

If you want to exclude a certain post type from the search, you can use the exclude post type filter. This will remove posts of the specified post type from the search.

Once you’ve found the posts you’re looking for, you can click on the arrow next to the post title to expand the post. This will show you all the details of the post, including the comments, likes, and shares.

You can also click on the link icon next to a post to open the link in a new tab. This will allow you to continue reading the post while you work on other things.

If you want to delete a post, you can click on the trash can icon next to the post title. This will remove the post from the blog, but it will not delete the post from the database.

Finally, you can click on the star icon next to a post to give it a star rating. This will help you remember which posts are the most important to you.

If you want to share a post with someone else, you can click on the share icon next to the post title. This will open the share dialog box, where you can type in the email address or social media profile of the person you want to share the post with.

Once you’ve shared the post, it will appear in the Shares section of the blog.

If you want to delete the post from your blog, you can click on the trash can icon next to the post title again.

There are a lot of different filters you can use to find the posts you’re looking for in Elementor. If you have any questions about how to use the filters, please don’t hesitate to ask us in the comments section below.
