There are a few different ways that you can find your Block ID in Squarespace. One way is to go into the Block Editor and click on the “Settings” icon for the block that you want to find the ID for.

In the Block Settings panel, you will see a field called “Block ID.” This is where you will find your Block ID.

Another way to find your Block ID is to use the Inspect Element tool in your web browser. To do this, right-click on the block that you want to find the ID for and select “Inspect.”

PRO TIP: When looking for your block ID in Squarespace, be aware that the process is not always accurate. The block ID may not be visible in all browsers, and it may not be updated in real-time. If you’re not seeing the block ID you’re expecting, try refreshing the page.

In the code that appears, you will see a section that says “id=”. The value that is listed after “id=” is your Block ID.

Once you have found your Block ID, you can use it to style the block using CSS. For example, if you wanted to change the background color of a block, you would use the following CSS code:

#block-ID {
background-color: #000000; }

To find your Block ID in Squarespace, you can either go into the Block Editor and look in the Block Settings panel, or you can use the Inspect Element tool in your web browser. Once you have found your Block ID, you can use it to style the block using CSS.
