If you’re running a Shopify store, you’ve probably come across the term “purchase URL” before. But what is a purchase URL? And how can you find yours?
A purchase URL is the unique link that’s generated when someone makes a purchase from your Shopify store. This link is stored in the order details for that purchase, and can be found in your Shopify admin.
To find a purchase URL:
1. Log in to your Shopify admin
2. Go to Orders (or press “o” on your keyboard)
3. Find the order that you want to view the purchase URL for
4. Click on the order number to view the order details
5. Scroll down to the Order Status section and click on the “More actions” drop-down menu
6. Select “View order status page” from the menu
The order status page will open in a new tab, and will contain the purchase URL for that particular order. You can send this URL to your customer so they can track the status of their order, or use it yourself to keep track of specific orders.
